ULSTER COUNTY WATER AND WASTEWATER ASSET INVENTORY AND CAPACITY STUDY
Description:

The Ulster County Planning Department is seeking proposals from engineering firms with experience in water and wastewater systems to develop a county-wide inventory of publicly owned assets related to water and wastewater systems including their condition, capacity, extent of service area, etc. Ulster County desires to take a holistic look at the water and sewer systems within the County and to increase its understanding of their ability to accommodate additional economic and housing development in the areas served by existing systems. The County also seeks to evaluate the potential to expand service areas of existing systems, which would allow it and its partner municipalities to respond to housing and economic development proposals with greater certainty.
