Penn Yan Fire Station Addition Design

The Village of Penn Yan was awarded a Volunteer Fire Infrastructure and Response Equipment grant from NYS Division of Homeland Security and Emergency services in the amount of $850,000 for improvements to the Village’s fire station. The Village is therefore seeking Statements of Qualifications from qualified architectural firms for services relating to the design and construction of an addition to Village’s fire station.

Qualification packages shall be placed in a sealed envelope addressed to Melissa Gerhardt, Director of Public Works, and be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope, "REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS”, and be sent to the Village Hall at 111 Elm Street, Penn Yan NY 14527 by 12:00 P. M., Eastern Daylight Savings Time, on September 3, 2025. Information received after that date and time will not be considered. Minority and Women Business Enterprise and Section 3 firms are strongly encouraged to submit. The Village of Penn Yan reserves the right to reject any or all Statements of Qualifications, the right to waive any informalities, the right to permit exceptions deemed not to be of substance, and the right to accept any Statement of Qualifications which the Village deems to represent the prudent and economical expenditure of the public monies for the benefit of the Village’s inhabitants by securing the maximum quality.
