ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at 611 Wilson Ave,
Suite 1, Pocatello, ID 83201 until 10:00 A.M. local time, on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 for 25355 State
Hospital South (SHS) Patient Treatment Facility (PTF) Roadway Asphalt & Dock Concrete, Department
of Health and Welfare, Blackfoot, Idaho
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include: demolition of the existing utility
tunnel, replacement of asphalt, and base along the East-West Aisle and the North-South Aisle leading to
the Patient Treatment Facility and Pendlebury Ln, and installation of ribbon curb and curb and gutter
adjacent to the roadway. Two add alternates are part of the project; one add alternate includes
construction of a concrete median island; the other includes additional landscaping removal, asphalt and
base, and valley gutter.
Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, beginning at 9:30 a.m., prevailing
local time, at the State Hospital South, Support Services Office Conference Room, 720 E. Alice St.,
Blackfoot, Idaho. Bidders are encouraged to attend.
One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and
electrical subcontractors from the Design Professional for a refundable deposit of $50. Others may
obtain
documents at cost, non-refundable.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public
Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
