Description
This Notice of Award and Limited Sources Justification and Approval is posted in accordance with (IAW) FAR 8.405(a)(2).
Blanket Purchase Agreement FA700025A0014 was awarded to Roche Diagnostics Corporation for Chemistry Analyzer Tests on a cost per reportable result basis for three Military Treatment Facilities (10th Medical Group, 21st Medical Group, and Evans Army Community Hospital).
A Notice of Intent to Limit Sources was posted on 10 Apr 25 under Notice ID CMHSRoche2025NOI. The acquisition is for a Blanket Purchase Agreement that supplies blood tests and reagents for a Chemistry Analyzer and was awarded off of Veterans Affairs (VA) Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) V797P-7347A. This procurement is for the acquisition of commercial items using simplified procedures IAW FAR parts 8 and 12. The authorities for this noncompetitive award are FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) and (C), only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized and in the interest of economy and efficiency, the new work is a logical follow-on to an original FSS order provided that the original order was placed in accordance with the applicable FSS ordering procedures.
