The 673d Security Forces Squadron requires one (1) steel ramp to replace existing equipment that has reached its end of
service life. The replacement ramp must meet the following specifications:
-Outside Width: Minimum 88 inches, Maximum 95.5 inches
-Inside Width: Minimum 80 inches, Maximum 92 inches
-Adjustable Height Range: 46 inches to 52 inches
-Weight Rating: Minimum 15,000 lbs, Maximum 22,000 lbs
-Mobility: The ramp must be relocatable to other loading bays via forklift, skid-steer, or ground transportation (i.e., not
permanently affixed to a structure).
-Safety Curbs/Railing Height: Minimum 4 inches, Maximum 8 inches
-Overall Length: Minimum 30 feet, Maximum 45 feet
-Surface Traction: The ramp surface must incorporate a metal grate or equivalent design to provide adequate traction and/or
facilitate snow removal.
-Material/Finish: The ramp must be constructed of painted steel or aluminum to prevent corrosion.
