Notice for Contractor Pre-Qualification - Walton County Fire Station No. 4 Renovation Project

The Walton County Board of Commissioners is soliciting applications from qualified contractors for pre-qualification to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the Walton County Fire Station No. 4 Renovation Project.

Only contractors pre-qualified through this process will be eligible to submit a bid for this project.

All applications must be submitted in a sealed package and shall include one (1) original and two (2) complete copies. Applications must be received and date-stamped by the Walton County Purchasing Department, located at the Walton County Historic Courthouse, 111 South Broad Street, Monroe, Georgia 30655, no later than 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 15, 2026. Electronic submissions will not be accepted. Applications received after the deadline stated will not be considered.

Pre-Qualification Applications will be evaluated based upon the established criteria set forth in the application. All qualified and disqualified applicants will be notified in writing. Pre- qualification shall become effective upon issuance of written notice of qualification and shall remain in effect until the award of the Walton County Fire Station No. 4 Renovation Project.

Submitted applications will require a minimum two-week review and approval process beginning on the application due date.

The Walton County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all applications and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the pre-qualification process.
