This is a notice of the 87th Contracting Squadron’s intent to award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) and FAR 6.302-1: Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
This is a Notice of a Proposed Contract Action synopsis. There is no solicitation being made at this time, and requests for a solicitation will receive no response. The proposed contract action is published to notify potential sources that the 87th Contracting Squadron (87 CONS), Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, NJ, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price contract on behalf of the 87th Civil Engineering Squadron to Information Station Specialists Inc. for repairs and upgrades to the current Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) System.
A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses to this synopsis will be used to confirm that this is a sole source requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334220. The size standard is 1,250 employees.
Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted by respondents to this notice of proposed contract action. Contractors who believe they possess the expertise and experience shall submit technical capabilities in writing to SSgt Alexander Kouba electronically via email at alexander.kouba@us.af.mil. Responses must be received no later than 17 September 2025, by 12 p.m. EDT. All documentation shall become the property of the Government.
