City of Edmonton
The City is looking to prequalify bidders for Terwillegar Drive Stage 3. Terwillegar Drive is a key north-south route connecting Edmontonians across the city. The traffic demand along the corridor has exceeded the capacity of the existing road. To accommodate the area’s growth, a three-stage plan has been implemented to alleviate congestion and provide all users with a safe and efficient route.

This project, Stage Three, is anticipated to start construction in 2026 includes road widening of Terwillegar Drive and 170 Street from four lanes to six lanes, upgrades to the Terwillegar Drive and Anthony Henday Drive interchange including the addition of a new bridge structure carrying Terwillegar Drive NB over AHD (BF85015-2),two new loop ramps, dedicated transit lanes, and a separate shared use pathway and bridge structure (BF85015-8) over Anthony Henday Drive.
