The Western Development Museum is seeking proposals from qualified market research firms to conduct both qualitative and quantitative research to assess the value of the WDM within each of its four communities as well as provincially. This research will provide insights into how the WDM impacts community members, its economic contributions, and its overall social and cultural significance.
This market research aims to understand the value the WDM brings to the community, both locally and provincially, including its economic, social, and cultural impacts.
- Economic impact (e.g., tourism, job creation, local spending).
- Social impact (e.g., community engagement, education, inclusivity).
- Cultural impact (e.g., preservation of heritage, fostering cultural identity).
- Perceived value among community members, visitors, stakeholders, and partners.
The research will include both qualitative and quantitative methodologies to offer a comprehensive perspective.
