CONTRACT NUMBER 5803.00

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed bids for Contract No. 5803.00 are sought for the City of Hudson Sidewalk Project, including, but not limited to, curb ramp/sidewalk demolition and installation in the City of Hudson. Sealed bids are sought and invited by the City of Hudson, Columbia County, New York, as set forth in specifications dated April 7, 2025, prepared by Crawford & Associates Engineering & Land Surveying, P.C., 1 Hudson City Centre, Suite 300, Hudson, New York, 12534.

Bids will be received at the office of the Department of Public Works at City of Hudson - City Hall, 520 Warren Street, Hudson, NY 12534, until 1:00 p.m. on April 29, 2025. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter at the City of Hudson, Hudson City Hall, 520 Warren Street, Hudson, NY 12534.

All activities on site shall be consistent with State and Federal regulations. This job is subject to prevailing wages. Current wage rates are provided within the Bid Documents.

All Bid Documents and all contract documents, including specifications governing the contract (Bid Documents), may be examined during regular office hours (by appointment only) at the office of Crawford & Associates Engineering & Land Surveying, P.C., City of Hudson, 1 Hudson City Centre, Suite 300, Hudson, NY 12534, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., on or after April 11, 2025.

Paper copies of the Bid Documents may be obtained from Crawford and Associates, 1 Hudson City Centre, Suite 300, Hudson NY, 12534 upon payment of a deposit of fifty (50) dollars for each paper copy of Bid Documents obtained. All payments shall be in the form of a check or money order made payable to Crawford and Associates. To obtain paper copies of the Bid Documents please call Crawford and Associates to schedule an appointment. Electronic copies of the Bid Documents are provided without a deposit and can be obtained by emailing rloucks@crawfordandassociates.com .

Starting promptly at 11:00 a.m., prospective bidders are advised that there will be a pre-bid meeting on April 18, 2025 at City Hall in the City of Hudson. Questions regarding the project plans and specifications will be accepted in writing until noon on April 24, 2025. Questions shall be submitted to rloucks@crawfordandassociates.com .

Each bidder must deposit with the bid the required security in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid in the form of a certified check or a bid bond subject to the conditions of the bid documents.

No bid will be accepted unless a signed Certification of Non-Collusion is submitted with the bid.

The City of Hudson expressly reserves the right to waive any informality in or to accept any bid or to reject any and all bids or to award on any or all items as the interest of the City may appear to require.

No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the bid opening.
