6th & Cummins Traffic Safety Project

The City of West Sacramento is accepting sealed responses for 6th & Cummins Traffic Safety Project to be received no later than Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 2:00 pm .

The bid specifications, including instructions on how to bid, standards for a responsive bid, and project specifications, are attached hereto in Attachments and incorporated herein by reference as if set forth in full

The 6th Street & Cummins Way Traffic Safety Project in West Sacramento aims to improve safety at an intersection where residents have reported speeding and traffic concerns. The City previously installed short-term traffic calming measures in 2022, such as stop signs, warning signage, and pavement striping, and is now moving forward with a more comprehensive solution. The current phase will include speed bumps, raised medians, bollards, lighting, striping, and signing.
