Research Information Management System Solution

Research Foundation for the State University of New York (RF) on behalf of Stony Brook University (SBU) is seeking to implement a Research Information Management System (RIMS) to serve as a centralized digital platform to effectively collect, store, organize, disseminate, and enable the discovery of information about faculty expertise and research outputs, including publications, research funding, royalties/licensing, relevant metrics (e.g., citations, h-index, alt-metrics), and other scholarly activities. This digital platform will also capture research resources across the institution, including research equipment and facilities. This system will allow for improved access, utilization, and decision-making by faculty and administrators, with a focus on research activity tracking and reporting capabilities and enabling the discoverability of faculty research and expertise to potential collaborators.
