Description

This solicitation covers the replacing of existing doors with certified fire-rated doors at the Chief of Mission Residence (CMR), including installation of fire-resistant hardware, panic bars, door closers, masonry finishes, and compliance with both U.S. and Spanish/European codes. The contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel to perform all services as required in the contract.



The performance period is stated in the solicitation.



The Government will hold a site visit to inspect the area where the works will take place on the date stated in the solicitation.

The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed-price type contract.



In accordance with DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), all contractors must possess all permits and licenses required to do business in Spain. All offerors must provide proof that they already possess said permits as part of their offer.
