Hach-Brand Water Information Management System

Project Description: Hillsborough County intends to recommend a contract modification to an existing noncompetitive contract (22829) with Hach Company, increasing contract amount by $215,000.00, from $1,318,925.00 to $1,533,925.00 and extending the expiration date by two (2) months, from February 28, 2025, to April 30, 2025. This modification is requested to ensure maintain regulatory compliance at facilities throughout the County during the transition to a new contract. This procurement is being made in accordance with Sections 3-208(2)(8) of the County’s Procurement Policy as the particular items and services are required to maintain interchangeability and compatibility of the existing equipment, and the material and services are the subject of a contract modification only reasonably available from one (1) source, therefore it would not be practical to engage another vendor. The County reserves the right to extend the time period further, adjust the scope of services in response to changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the resulting award accordingly.
Contractors who believe that they can provide goods and services that are substantially and materially the same as those identified in the attached Hach Product and Services Offerings and modification, must submit clear and convincing information to support a challenge the intended award. Challenges to this notice must be received no later than the Close Date of the Sole Source (SS) Project and must be directed to the primary contact listed above using the “messages” section in Bonfire for this particular procurement. After this date, an award will be made. The County will review properly submitted challenges (responses) to determine whether bona fide competition exists.
