Description
Intent of this Bid request is to obtain an offer to perform Work to the removal of the existing
mixed media filter media and replacement with granular activated carbon and all necessary
appurtenances and subsequent media exchanges to successfully complete the project at the
Mauldin Road Water Treatment Plant in Calhoun, Georgia for a Stipulated Price contract,
according to Contract Documents. Based on preliminary findings, the granular activated carbon
will require an exchange rate of every four months. The bid amount must cover the sum for
each of the first three exchanges. There are 16 beds at approx 368 cubic feet each.
