Description:

McIntosh County Board of Commissioners (hereinafter-Owner) is soliciting sealed competitive proposals from certified and qualified General Contractors for the construction of the Ft. Barrington Campsite located in Barrington County Park. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, equipment, materials, and related appurtenances as specified in this RFP and project plans. The work includes, but is not limited to, a bathhouse, electrical systems, and, as an add alternate bid item, a septic system and water well system installation.

Special Requirements:

All proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. A cashiers or certified check may be submitted in lieu of a bid bond.
The successful Proposer, if awarded this contract, will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.

PAYMENT TERMS:
The successful Proposer will receive monthly payments within 30 days after receipt and approval by the Owner’s Representative of a valid invoice for those services rendered.
