Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 on behalf of Durham VA Medical Center is conducting Market Research through this source sought notice to help determine the availability of qualified Businesses, capable of providing asbestos abatement air monitoring services, but not limited to, the following:

Furnish all labor (North Carolina Accredited Asbestos air monitors), material, tools, equipment, necessary to perform the project air monitoring of the asbestos removal described within this scope of work. All work shall be completed in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local Regulation and VA Directives, whichever is more stringent. Post removal air clearances will be analyzed by Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) and must not exceed 70 structures per square millimeter of filter area. Work shall be completed according to priority.

All respondents shall indicate/provide the following:

Failure to provide the above information may result in the potential offeror being considered incapable of meeting the VA s needs.
Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size (large or small): Please identify your companies socioeconomic categories-8(a), HUBZone, Services Disabled Veteran-Owned/Veteran-Owned Small Business, other small, small or large; provide a brief description of qualifications and any other pertinent information which demonstrates the ability to meet the above requirement.
