The Lynchburg Hillcats are engaged with the City of Lynchburg to improve fan experience at the Hillcats Stadium. This work will include the following scope: First Base Side: A new Sky Bar structure will be attached to and extend beyond the last Skybox. It will include roll-up doors, windows, a fully operational bar, exterior seating, interior lighting, and heating. The structure will feature steel construction with a concrete floor and new seating levels. A new entrance will be added from the Skybox area, along with a stairway entrance from the concourse level. An expanded entertainment area will extend beyond the existing seating to accommodate a new restroom building, cabanas, additional seating areas and levels, a concession stand, a carousel, and associated stairs and ramps for entry and exit. A new electrical room will also be added. Existing open seating areas will be reworked to enlarge the seating levels.Third Base Side: A new concession area will be constructed, featuring a concession stand and a steel-and-concrete elevated deck attached to the existing concession building. New open seating levels will be created, with reworked concrete platforms to accommodate updated seating arrangements.All Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing as necessary will be included. A new service will be brought in on third base side to new electrical room (By Owner). All demolition and temporary shoring required for new construction will be included. All spoils to be removed from site. Staging areas will be coordinated with the City.The schedule for this work will be starting October 2025 and must be completed by April 1, 2026.Permit Fees will be paid by the City. Temporary power will be by City. Sewer connection Fees will be by City.Job trailer, large enough to accommodate meeting room for 10-20 people will be required along with portable bathrooms, stadium bathrooms will not be permitted to be used by contractors workforce.
