Suspended Scaffolds Operation & Maintenance Services for State Office Buildings in Albany, NY

The New York State Office of General Services (OGS), Division of Real Estate (DRE), is seeking a vendor to operate and maintain exterior building suspended scaffolds, located in the Albany, New York area, in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, rules, and regulations. The vendor will ensure services are provided satisfactorily and in a manner that will minimize interference with the normal use of the building and its tenants.

The following minimum requirement must be met by each Bidder :

A. Bidder has actively been engaged for at least the past three years in operation, maintenance, testing, service, repair, and replacement of materials and equipment on scaffolds of similar manufacture and capacity as those covered by this contract.

B. The Bidder’s senior management personnel has been actively engaged cumulatively for the Bidder and/or another firm in which they also served as senior personnel for at least the past three years in the operation, maintenance, testing, service, repair, and replacement of materials and equipment on scaffolds of similar manufacture and capacity as those covered by this contract. Provided, however, in the case of the latter situation, the Bidder must have been in business for at least six months.

OGS intends to award one contract to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder.
