Term Contract
Notice is hereby given that the City of Gulfport will receive sealed bids until 10:00 am,
local time, January 12, 2026 at the Office of Procurement, located at 1422 23rd Ave,
Gulfport, MS 39501 after which time they opened and read aloud, for the following:
Group C2A – Culvert and Ram Neck Piping
Electronic copies of the bid packages are available by contacting jversiga@gulfport-
ms.gov or from www.gulfportmsbids.com. All bids must comply with the
specifications provided. The City of Gulfport reserves the right to amend the
specifications as necessary and agrees to notify all parties having requested bid
packets. For any questions relating to electronic bids contact Plan House Printing
at www.planhousprinting.com or 662-407-0193.
All bids are to be submitted on the bid form as provided within the specification
packet. Failure to do so may disqualify the bidder. Bids can be uploaded to the
Planroom at www.gulfportmsbids.com or delivered to Department of Procurement,
Jones Building, 1422 23rd Avenue (2nd Floor), Gulfport, MS 39501. The City is not
responsible for any bids which are mailed to the wrong address or which arrive in
the mail after the designated bid opening time. Bids may be delivered in person to
the Owner’s office prior to the bid opening at the time, date and location listed
above.
The City reserves the right to accept bids by items or by group and to reject any or all
bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Gulfport. Bids will be awarded
to the “lowest and best” bid submitted.
Sealed bids must be received in the Office of Procurement no later than January 12,
2026 at 10:00 am, local time at 1422 23rd Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501 or online at
www.gulfportmsbids.com .
Any questions in reference to the bid must be received via email to jversiga@gulfport-
ms.gov no later than January 5, 2026.
Minority and Women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as
prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential
subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs.
The successful bidder must adhere to the City’s policy concerning non-
discrimination without regard to race, creed, color, age, sex, national origin or
handicap.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the
opening thereof.
Direct contact with any City employee, GRC Commissioners, including
Administration and City Council, on the subject of this proposal is strictly
forbidden. Violation of this paragraph will result in disqualification of your
submission.
