Sale of Land Capacity at Hunter Ferrell Landfill

Intent: The City of Irving is accepting bids from parties interested in the purchase of landfill capacity to dispose of predetermined tons of municipal solid waste annually per City’s Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) MSW Permit No. 1394B. The purpose of this Request for Bids (RFB) is to select one or more partners to enter into a multi-year agreement to increase waste volume and generate revenue for the City, with a target of securing a total of up to 200,000 tons of waste per year.

Any questions or requests for clarification should be submitted under the questions tab in this online solicitation. The responses will be posted after consultation with the appropriate department personnel. If the responses necessitate a significant change to the specifications, an addendum will be issued.
