Advertisement/Invitation to Bid
The Town Board of the Town of New Hartford, Oneida County, New York will receive sealed bids for SEDGEWICK PARK DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT until 11:45 AM September 15, 2025 in the Town Clerk’s Office, 8635 Clinton Street, New Hartford, NY 13413. All bids received shall be publicly opened and read aloud at 12:00pm on September 15, 2025 in the Town Clerk’s Office, 8635 Clinton Street, New Hartford, NY. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud immediately thereafter.
The project consists of all labor, equipment, and materials required for the complete installation of stormwater infrastructure as shown on the construction drawings prepared by Dunn & Sgromo Engineers, including but not limited to: • Removal and replacement of existing CMP drainage lines • Installation of HDPE storm sewer (12” to 30”) per NYSDOT specifications • Construction of new catch basins, debris basins, vertical debris stacks, and limestone stilling basins • Riprap bank stabilization • Site restoration and grading All work must be substantially complete by January 15, 2026. Liquidated damages will apply for late completion.
It is anticipated that the Town Board will award the bid for furnishing of all labor and materials for SEDGEWICK PARK DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder on September 17, 2025 at the Town Board Meeting.
The Contract Documents, including specifications and construction drawings, may be obtained from the Town Clerk’s Office during normal business hours.
Bids SHALL be submitted by completing and submitting the BID SHEET, which shall not be detached from this document. Bid documents are available in the Town Clerk’s Office, 8635 Clinton Street, New Hartford, NY 13413. Bids SHALL be presented in sealed envelopes at the Town Clerk’s Office, and shall bear on the face thereof the name and address of the bidder and the item(s) bid. Bidder SHALL submit an executed NON-COLLUSION STATEMENT.
The Town Board will notify Bidders within seventy-two (72) hours of acceptance.
FAILURE OF BIDDER TO COMPLY WITH ALL THE SPECIFICATIONS LISTED HEREIN ABOVE SHALL RESULT IN AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION OF THEIR BID. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to re-advertise at its discretion.
