The APEX Accelerators program was formerly known as the Procurement Technical Assistance Program (opens in new window) (PTAP).
The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 21 (NCO21), intends to negotiate a sole source Firm-Fixed Price, base plus four option year (OY) contract for on-site service maintenance of Philips Brightview CT scanners and Flex Cardio equipment at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System. The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), Philips North America, LLC has the proprietary rights to the software for the equipment. Philip’s Field Service Engineers (FSE) are OEM certified to provide parts and service compatible with the equipment. The FSEs are also the only individuals authorized to install the proprietary software and hardware updates/upgrades for the equipment. The OEM will only guarantee work completed by these FSEs. The government intends to award the contract on 05/01/2025 to Philips North America, LLC, 22100 BOTHELL EVERETT HIGHWAY, BOTHELL, WA 98021; SAM UEI: T41NB3MDAPZ6 CAGE CODE: 8HEG5. The estimated Period of Performance will be 05/01/2025-04/30/2030.
This synopsis announcement is being issued for information purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or request for competitive proposals. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days of this publication by contacting John Waldrip via email at john.waldrip@va.gov. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Those interested firms must indicate whether they are large, small, small-disadvantaged, 8(a) or woman owned business and whether they are U.S. or foreign owned. Respondents who submit proprietary data shall clearly mark the data with appropriate markings. The Government will not pay for any information submitted as a result of this synopsis. This synopsis shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services. Responses are due no later than Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 4:00PM Pacific Standard Time.
