Train the Trainer for Workforce Development and Morale

The New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) issues this Request for Quote (RFQ) to obtain a vendor that will administer a customized training program for Division of State Operations (DSO) using a train-the-trainer (TTT) model. DSO intends to replicate the training to build its own long-term, independent, internal training capacity. The intended program will become intellectual property of OPWDD DSO upon completion of the Contract term.

Bidders must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• Proposals will be accepted only from New York State Certified Minority- and Women-Owned Businesses (MWBEs), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOBs), or Small Business Enterprises (defined as per State Finance Law 163(6)).
• Bidders must have a minimum of three years of professional experience in providing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training.

This RFQ will be posted on both the Procurement Opportunities | Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (ny.gov) website, and on the New York State Contract Reporter (ny.gov) website.

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law Sections 139-j and 139-k, the Procurement Lobbying Act applies to this solicitation. The restricted period begins with the publication of this ad and will end with the formal approval by OSC of the contractual agreement.
