Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Quasar Global Technologies (Quasar) of Lancaster, PA to provide SCADA CPUs (Supervisory Control & Data Acquisition Central Processing Units) for the generator emergency power supply system at the Orlando VA Medical Center (VAMC) at Lake Nona in Orlando, FL.

NCO 8 anticipates awarding a one-time Firm Fixed-Priced (FFP) purchase order. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 13.106-1, only one responsible source reasonably available to satisfy the agency requirements. The applicable NAICS Code is 334513 Electronic & electronic controllers, with a small business size standard of 750 employees.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using products and services to provide generator system controls to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement and show experience providing system support. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

If no responses are received, NCO 8 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Quasar Global Technologies.
