Request for Statement of Qualifications/Proposals Consulting
Services for Municipal Fleet Assessments
The City of San Mateo (City) is
accepting statement of qualifications/proposals (SOQ/RFP) to select a qualified firm or
individual to provide Consulting Services for Municipal Fleet Assessments. All questions
regarding this request for SOQ/RFP shall be directed to Steve Wu, Facilities and Fleet Services
Manager, email: swu@cityofsanmateo.org, or to the City of San Mateo Public Works Facilities,
1961 Pacific Boulevard, San Mateo, CA 94403. The SOQ/RFP and details on the mandatory pre-
proposal conference are available for viewing online at
http://www.cityofsanmateo.org/bids.aspx. SOQ/RFPs shall be submitted by firms that have a
capable and demonstrable background in the type of work described in this SOQ/RFP. In
addition, all interested firms shall have sufficient, readily available resources in the form of
trained personnel, support services, safety protocols, specialized consultants, pertinent field
equipment, and financial resources to carry out the work without delay or shortcomings. The
proposals shall be submitted to Steve Wu, Facilities and Fleet Services Manager via email at
swu@cityofsanmateo.org, no later than: 4:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time on Thursday, April
23, 2026. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered.
