This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in
Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional
information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; this is a sole source effort, therefore only quotes from the University of Central Florida (UCF) will be accepted and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation number N6134025R0039 is to procure commercial services. It incorporates the
provisions and clauses in effect from regulations posted to https://www.acquisition.gov/ inclusive, but not limited to, Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) number 2025-03. This Procurement is being solicited as a Sole Source effort to UCF. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 541310 and PSC C211 with a size standard of $12.5 Million. This procurement will be awarded using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) outlined in FAR Part 13. The Government
anticipates awarding a firm-fixed-price purchase order.
The requirement is for professional architectural and engineering services to conduct a feasibility study for constructing a lab within the Ingenuity Hyperspace Building at the Central Florida Research Park (CFRP) to host a Navy platform called the Virtual Joint Environment for Tactical Training Systems (VJETTS) and associated office space. VJETTS will be utilized by NAWCTSD, UCF, and Team Orlando. This study will assess the viability and design of hosting portable CSUs, provided by the Navy, within an ~17,000 square foot area of the building.
