Title: Sector 11 – Utilities Design Services
BACKGROUND
This Design Engineering subcontract will be a Best Value Trade off subcontract with a firm fixed price. The scope of work includes a SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory approved A/E consultant to work with SLAC personnel to provide a detailed and constructible design for the following utilities: electrical, sanitary sewer, storm drain, domestic water and communications. The design to be provided must include any civil and structural design required for the excavation, mounting and installation of underground duct banks, all piping both above ground and subgrade structures.
The A&E firm will be responsible for providing a design for tie-ins to existing infrastructure, routing the utilities, extending from the klystron gallery level up to the desired handoff point for future connections to be placed and future hand off points which may be valves, handholds, manholes etc. The A/E firm shall provide services for construction support services during the construction period of the facility.

Note that any responses to this sources sought is purely on a voluntary basis. SLAC is not requesting a proposal, any pricing, or any other information that could be considered confidential or proprietary to be submitted in response to this posting or any part of this posting. Any submissions that contain pricing, proprietary information or confidential information will be discarded by SLAC.
