ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed bids for construction of the Underground Storage Tank Removal and Aboveground Storage Tank Installation Project for the Town of Acton, Massachusetts, will be received at the Department of Public Works, Highway Division at 14 Forest Road, Acton, Massachusetts 01720 until 2:00 p.m. prevailing time, on November 21, 2024, at which time and place said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The scope includes removing the existing fueling station with two 20,000-gallon split USTs and constructing a new station near Forest Road. The new station will have one 10,000-gallon split AST (6,000 gallons gasoline/4,000 gallons diesel), one 10,000-gallon gasoline AST, and one 5,000-gallon diesel AST. The Town will handle clearing and excavating the wooded area to subgrade.

Estimated construction cost:  $2,250,000
