This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is an open market posting with only one known qualified offeror for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation number is 75D30125Q78705 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-07. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334516 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The CDC International Laboratory Branch(ILB) ARV laboratory nitrogen generators in the ARV testing laboratory has a continuous need. As such, the branch utilizes yearly maintenance/service agreements from Peak Scientific for maintenance service support of two nitrogen generators, the Genuis XE70 and the Genius 3010-SLO, for the two 6495 Triple Quadrople LC/MS systems in the laboratory to ensure. continuity and consistency with user protocols. The CDC intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Peak Scientific Inc 19 Sterling Road Suite # 1 Billerica MA 01862.
