This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This is an open market posting with only one known qualified offeror for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within fifteen (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The CDC International Laboratory Branch(ILB) ARV laboratory nitrogen generators in the ARV testing laboratory has a continuous need. As such, the branch utilizes yearly maintenance/service agreements from Peak Scientific for maintenance service support of two nitrogen generators, the Genuis XE70 and the Genius 3010-SLO, for the two 6495 Triple Quadrople LC/MS systems in the laboratory to ensure. continuity and consistency with user protocols.
