Project Description: The City of Rio Rancho is soliciting bids for fertilizer and pesticide consulting services, and the supply and delivery of various fertilizer and pesticide products for seasonal applications and routine maintenance and upkeep. Bidder(s) shall have the capacity to supply and deliver all the fertilizer blends specified in this Invitation for Bids (IFB), and shall formulate special blends as needed for City soil needs. Fertilizer products procured under this IFB shall be used on approximately ten (10) sports fields and approximately forty-five (55) City parks and facilities (approximately 450 acres). Fertilizer shall be applied by City staff seasonally (approximately 3 times a year) in accordance with an annual Fertilizer Schedule approved by the City’s contract representative(s).
