Project Description: Bids will be received by the South Hills Area Council of Governments (SHACOG), until 10:00 AM on Monday, July 6, 2026, to be publicly opened and posted immediately through the PennBid electronic procurement platform for the following:
Inspection and Service Testing of Fire Hose
Inspection and Service Testing of Ground Ladders
Inspection and Service Testing of Aerial Devices
Performance Testing of Fire Pumps
Specifications, instructions to proponents and proposal forms may be obtained through the PennBid electronic procurement platform (pennbid.net) beginning on June 11, 2026.
SHACOG, its member municipalities, and the fire departments in those municipalities reserve the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any minor discrepancies in the proposal or specifications when deemed to be in the best interest of SHACOG, the municipality or the fire department.
