Description:

Submission: Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe (SRMT) Grants & Contracts Office, Ionkwakiohkwaróron Administration Building, 71 Margaret Terrance Memorial Way, Akwesasne, NY 13655 until 3:30 p.m. (Local Time), Tuesday, June 24, 2025. No public opening of proposals will be conducted.

Description: SRMT is requesting proposals from Qualified Contractors to provide all labor, materials, tools, plant, equipment, supervision and incidentals necessary to construct a new deep-water boat launch on an existing undeveloped site off Library Road, Akwesasne, NY with frontage on the Raquette River. Related improvements include a floating dock and fishing pier systems, an elevated boardwalk, utilities, grading, drainage and erosion control measures, landscaping improvements, gravel and asphalt parking areas along with approximately 700’ gravel access roadway, all more particularly identified in the Proposal Documents.

A PRE-PROPOSAL MEETING will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 beginning at 11:00 a.m. (local time), to be held at the SRMT’s Planning & Infrastructure Boardroom, 2817 State Rt. 95, Bombay, NY. A site visit will be held directly after, if necessary.

Davis Bacon Prevailing Wage Rates, Proposal/Bid and Contract Security are mandatory requirements of this call.

The following preferences apply to this solicitation: Native Preference, Women Business Enterprises & Veteran with Disabilities Business Enterprises and Minority Business Enterprises and Veterans Business Enterprises.

In accordance with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Native American Preference Policy, the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe will give preference in the award of a Contract to approved Native American Owned Businesses/Companies, as certified by the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Compliance Department. Any proponent claiming Native American Preference must give evidence to support this claim with their submitted proposal. The successful Contractor, as well as their Sub-Contractors, will be required to complete a Native American Preference Employment Plan and Agreement.

THE SAINT REGIS MOHAWK TRIBE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO ACCEPT ANY PROPOSAL, WHETHER IT IS THE LOWEST OR NOT, OR MAY REJECT ANY AND ALL PROPOSALS.
