Request for Information for Services for Acoustics, Audiovisual Systems, Lighting, and Performance Space Design for Large-Scale Concert Venues

This RFI is issued as a market research tool for informational and planning purposes only. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS RFI.

The Olympic Authority seeks information from qualified and experienced companies (Vendors) capable of providing professional services in the following areas:
• Acoustics and sound system design
• Audiovisual (AV) systems integration
• Arena and performance lighting design
• Performance space planning for large-scale concert venues

The purpose of this RFI is to assess Vendor capabilities to support a variety of program needs at the Olympic Center (Venue) and related facilities. Potential scope of services includes, but is not limited to:
• Design and specification of sound, lighting, and rigging systems for multiple configurations in the 1980 Arena
• Sound and lighting solutions for the 1932 Rink
• Sound and lighting design for the Lake Placid Conference Center Ballroom
• Recommendations for Venue infrastructure upgrades, equipment, and integration strategies

The Olympic Authority intends to use responses to this RFI to inform the development of a future solicitation, which may result in one or more contracts for the services.
