I have had alot of questions regarding this action. Please see below questions/answers: if you have any additional question that arent answered below please send me an email.

1. CLIN pricing has QUANTITY as 1 and UNIT as Lot - how do you want quoters to submit pricing? Do you want pricing for one page? One minute of audio/video? One hour of audio/video? Something else? We would want to know the pricing starting at 1 minute of audio/video knowing we typically have content that exceeds an hour


2. Is there a current contract for these services? No current contract. Previous contract was closed.
   
   
   
   1. If so, who is the current vendor? Transcribe Me was awarded the previous contract.
   
   
   
   


3. Historically, how many hours of audio per year have been requested for transcription services for each of the delivery times:
   
   
   
   1. 3-business days. We cannot give a specific number of hours as TranscribeMe has the data but we about 90% of audio we request has at least a 3-business day turnaround.
   
   
   2. 24-hour. About 10% of audio we request has a 24-hour turnaround
   
   
   
   


4. Will the contractor ever be required to report or record live events? No


5. Or will NAVAIR be responsible for providing audio and/or video files/links to the contractor? Yes


6. Will all transcription be English-English? Yes


7. Will there be requirements for non-English translation and transcription? About 90% of content is English with a very small amount possible being non-English


8. Are services for the IG? Press Office? Other? Command Communications


9. sow is showing 1 base with 2 option years. Please have the quote for 1 base and 3 option years.

Solicitation N0042125Q0038 is issued as a combined synopsis/solicitation. This action will be conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and award the proposed purchase order on a brand name basis Transcription. under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b).

All responding vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov/vendor.cfm.

Small business set-aside.

This is a firm fixed-price procurement; therefore, the offeror’s intial offer should represent the vendor’s best quote in terms of price and technical acceptability.

Your quote must contain enough technical information to evaluate your quote. Your quote will only be evaluated on the information you provide.

The Government intends to award this on a brand name basis. All interested parties MUST submit a brand name quote no later than 03/14/2025 by 4pm. Solicitation closing date/time is firm; proposals received after the deadline will not be accepted If you are quoting you MUST be an authorized distributor, Items must be covered under the Manufacturer’s Warranty; Used or refurbished items will not be accepted. Award will be made on an all or none basis. All quotes/responses shall be submitted via email to Annie Bohmann at annie.n.bohmann@navy.mil.
