Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified Contractors who are able to meet the requirements identified in the accompanying Statement of Work. This is not a solicitation. A solicitation will be issued at a later date. This notice does not restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any Contractor for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.

The Bath VA Medical Center is currently seeking a vendor for the procurement of a John Deere 60 P-Tier Compact Excavator or equal.

The NAICS Code is 33311 Farm Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing

Statement of Work

Contract Title.

For the procurement of a John Deere 60 P-Tier Compact Excavator or equal,

Introduction.

This Statement of Work (SOW) defines the requirements for the procurement of a brand name or equal John Deere 60 P-Tier Compact Excavator with specified attachments for the Bath VA Medical Center Facilities Management Department. This equipment will be used to support facility maintenance, construction, and infrastructure projects within the VAMC campus.

Scope.

The contractor shall provide a brand name or equal John Deere 60 P-Tier Excavator that includes the following attachments and accessories:

Equipment Requirements.

The supplied equipment shall include:

Compact Excavator: John Deere 60 P-Tier or equal. Item #: 0190FF
John Deere Configuration 6 or equal Cab, Rubber, Susp, Long Arm + EX C/W:
400mm (16 in.) Rubber Track
Backfill Blade 1.85m (6 ft.1 in.) Long Arm Extra Counterweight (Extra Counterweight extends beyond width of tracks when upper structure is rotated to the side.
Radio ready with speakers, Antenna, Wiring and Mounting
Cloth Seat
Heater and Air Conditioner
Hydraulic Gray Thumb: Compatible with the excavator model, allowing for secure material handling and improved operational efficiency.
42-inch Ditch Cleaning Bucket (9,6 cu.ft; no teeth): Designed for grading, sloping, and ditch maintenance.
24-inch Heavy Duty Bucket (7.5 cu. Ft; 5k teeth included): Engineered for heavy-duty digging applications.
Hydraulic clamp kit required for enhanced material handling operations.

Performance Specifications.
The supplied equipment must meet or exceed the following specifications:

Engine Power: Minimum 53 HP (or equivalent for equal models).
Operating Weight: Approximately 13,500 lbs
Maximum Digging Depth: At least 12 feet.
Hydraulic System: Must support hydraulic thumb and clamp kit operation.
Fuel Type: Diesel

Salient Characteristics.

Must be compatible with the following replacement parts that the facility current stocks with Generic Inventory Principles (GIP):

Engine Oil Filter: RE59754
Hydraulic oil filtration: 4630525
Filter Paks designed for compact construction equipment, which include the necessary filters for 500-hour and 100-hour service intervals.
Fuel Filter: RE553072

Must be compatible, plug and play with the following facility owned attachments that fit the John Deere Gator XUV875M (Diesel) HVAC:

PA15B Planetary Drive Auger
TC36 Trencher
HH20C Hammer
Quik-Tatch Ability to switch from one type of attachment to another

Delivery, Installation, and Inspection.

The contractor shall deliver the equipment fully assembled and operational to the Bath VAMC, Facilities Management Department.
A final inspection and acceptance test will be conducted at Bath VAMC to verify compliance with specifications and ensure proper functionality before final acceptance.

Period of Performance.

The equipment shall be delivered within 6 months or best date available within contract award.
Security. The C&A requirements do not apply, a Security Accreditation Package is not required.
