CHSC - Replace HVAC
PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE:
The National Park Service, Contracting Operations – Central, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the Replace HVAC project at Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Work consists of: replacing Heat Pumps 5 & 6 located on a mezzanine level over two storage rooms adjacent to the multipurpose room. The lay-in ceilings in the two storage rooms will be removed. Lights, diffusers and devices will be salvaged for reuse. An existing cold formed steel joist, plywood decked mezzanine will be partially dismantled to provide access to the units which sit on separate vibration dampening carriages
suspended by all-thread. The mezzanine will be reassembled. New grid and ceiling tile will be installed. Finishing work such as painting as required to facilitate a finished replacement of the units.
SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P66025Q0034
PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $100,000 and $250,000
TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by Summer 2025 with performance to begin in Summer 2025.
Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Pulaski County, AR will apply.
EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Past Performance, and Price
North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238220, and the size standard is $19 million.
This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses.
SITE VISIT: A site visit date, time, and meeting location will be announced in the solicitation. Offerors are highly encouraged to attend the scheduled site visit to inspect the site and to ensure they fully understand the requirement and conditions that may affect the cost of the project, specifications, and performance.
PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued and available May 2025 and will be posted to the Contract Opportunities/SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities .
The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation.
REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have an UEI number. Also, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), website at http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications at the time of the solicitation close date once the solicitation is posted.
