Title: Structured Cabling and Installation Services for Emergency Dispatch Center
Addenda: 0
Release Date: 12/11/2024
Due Date: 1/24/2025
The County of Tuolumne ("County") is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide comprehensive cabling and installation services for the County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center relocation to the existing Ambulance/Fire/EOC headquarters located at 18440 Striker Court in Sonora. These cabling services will include copper, fiber and other cable types as requested and required for an emergency services dispatch center. Oversight and standard compliance validation will be performed by the County Information Technology Department (IT), Facilities Management and General Services Agency (GSA) staff. It is the intent of the County to obtain an all-inclusive labor and materials proposal.
The contractor shall design, install, test, and certify a structured cabling system that supports critical voice, data, and communication functions within an emergency dispatch center. The cabling infrastructure must ensure high reliability, future scalability, and be resilient to environmental factors that could disrupt emergency services. Contractor must ensure the cabling infrastructure is robust enough to handle the demands of an emergency dispatch center while providing long-term maintenance and flexibility for future upgrades.
One of the most critical operations provided by the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center is the provision of 911 emergency dispatching for the County. The citizens and visitors of our County rely upon dispatching services during times of urgent need and emergency.
The Sheriff’s Dispatch Center is currently located at 28 N. Lower Sunset Drive in Sonora. The County plans to relocate the Dispatch Center to the existing Ambulance/Fire/EOC headquarters located at 18440 Striker Court in Sonora ("Striker Court").
