REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS

The City of Surrey (the “City”) invites Quotations for the supply and delivery of three (3) (more or less) 4WD tractors w/mid mounted boom mower as described in Schedule A – Specifications of Goods to Attachment 1 – Agreement – Goods (the “Goods”), including the performance of the warranty obligations as described in the Agreement.

This RFQ is for a contract for the supply and delivery of three (3) (more or less) 4WD tractors w/mid mounted boom mowers for the purposes of working in a municipal roadside mowing environment. Details of the City’s technical and functional specifications & requirements to which this RFQ relates to are set out in Schedule A – Specifications of Goods to Attachment 1 – Agreement – Goods.

SPECIFICATIONS OF GOODS

It is the intent of the following specification to describe for the purchase, and delivery of three (3) (more or less) new and unused 4WD tractors with a 24 foot mid-mounted, hydraulically powered boom mower for cutting grass and brush on roadsides and other areas that are not accessible to conventional mowing equipment. The unit bid shall be the manufacturer's current production model that meet or exceed the following preferred technical and functions Specifications and requirements. Only a standard production machine may be bid on these specifications and a Contractor will not be permitted to modify his standard production unit in order to meet these Specifications.

ADDENDA

If the City determines that an amendment is required to this RFQ, the City Representative will issue a written addendum by posting it on the BC Bid Website at www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca (the “BC Bid Website”) and the City Website at www.surrey.ca (the “City Website”). Issued addenda will form part of this RFQ. It is the responsibility of Contractors to check the BC Bid Website and the City Website for addenda. The only way this RFQ may be added to, or amended in any way, is by a formal written addendum. No other communication, whether written or oral, from any person will affect or modify the terms of this RFQ or may be relied upon by any Contractor. By delivery of a Quotation, the Contractor is deemed to have received, accepted and understood the entire RFQ, including any and all addenda.
