The County of Orange, OC Public Works , (hereinafter referred to as County) is requesting competitive bids from qualified vendors (hereinafter referred to as Bidder) for IFB-080-2986502-JC - MEDIUM AND HEAVY-DUTY VEHICLE COLLISION REPAIR SERVICES . The County has attempted to provide all information available. It is the responsibility of each Bidder to review, evaluate, and, where necessary, request any clarification prior to submission of a bid. The awarded Contract, (hereinafter referred to as Contract) will be between the County and awarded Bidder, (hereinafter referred to as Contractor) in accordance with the model contract terms, conditions and scope of work.

The County maintains a fleet of medium and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment used to support a wide range of public services and operational functions. These assets include, but are not limited to, commercial trucks, trailers, buses, tractors, recreational vehicles, and other heavy-duty equipment. Over time, these vehicles may require collision repair, structural restoration, body work, refinishing, and related services to remain safe, functional, and compliant with applicable regulations.

The County is issuing this solicitation to obtain qualified contractors capable of providing comprehensive automotive body repair and restoration services, including labor, materials, and equipment, in accordance with established industry standards and all applicable federal, state, and local laws. The resulting contract(s) will support the County’s ongoing need for timely, high-quality repair services that ensure vehicles and equipment are restored to original condition or better, while maintaining consistency, accountability, and operational efficiency.
