Architecture & Engineering for Parks & Recreation

The City of Gallatin invites qualified firms in architecture and engineering to submit a
Statement of Qualifications with Evidence for consideration in work with the City of
Gallatin
on multiple Parks and Recreations projects including: evaluation for a renovation or
addition to the Gallatin Civic Center and design of such, new concessions stand, new
soccer field complex, new park restroom facilities, ADA improvements to sidewalks and
related, and other ancillary design recommendations.
Submittals Requirements and Due Date:
Responses shall be submitted no later than 2 p.m. CDT on Thursday, September 17,
2026, to:

Interested firms shall submit five paper copies and one electronic file. Submittals should
include qualifications of the firm, individuals, and subcontractors who will work on this
project with attention to Criteria for Selection. Submittals are limited to 15 two-sided
pages including the cover.
Project Description:
1. Evaluation to renovate or construct an addition to the Gallatin Civic Center for the
purpose of family room needs and design of such
2. Design of a new, permanent concessions stand located at the Tommy Garrott
Aquatics Center outdoor pool
3. Design of a new soccer field complex located on land adjacent to the existing
Triple Creek Park
4. Design of new Municipal Park restroom facilities
5. Design of ADA improvements to sidewalks and related
Criteria for Selection:
· Number of successfully built parks & recreation projects completed by the firm (30%)
· Direct experience with a similar city in the Southeast/Tennessee (30%)
· Expertise in federal grant compliance and management (20%)
· Staff and subcontractor credentials and availability (20%)
Mandatory facility tours :
Facility tours will be held at the Gallatin Civic Center on Wednesday, August 26, 2026,
at 10 AM CDT or on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 10 AMCDT. Attendance at one of these
tours is mandatory.
City of Gallatin Professional Services Agreement :
By submitting a response to the Request for Qualifications, responder understands and
agrees that if chosen for the projects defined, responder will be required to sign the
attached City of Gallatin Professional Services Agreement.
