University Services is the parent department of a diverse group of areas that support the campus of the University of Minnesota: Printing Services (Copy Centers, Graphic Design, Addressing and Mailing), U Market Services (distribution, logistics, procurement, campus mail/courier), Bookstores, Dining Services, Parking & Transportation Services including Fleet, Housing and Residential Life, U Card, Facilities Management, Department of Public Safety, Capital Planning, and Health Safety Risk Management. University Services Information Technology (USIT) is the main support unit for technology needs for these units.
Many of USIT systems are run on an IBM iSeries, including:
