Project Goals
Workforce Housing: Provide housing options suitable for local workers, including essential services personnel, teachers, and other key sectors.
Affordable Living: Ensure housing is accessible to families and individuals with low and very low incomes.
Economic Stability: Support the local economy by providing housing that enables residents to live and work within the community.
Sustainability: Incorporate environmentally responsible design and construction practices to enhance long-term viability.
Project Scope
The selected developer will:
Design: Develop site plans and building designs that align with the city’s zoning and workforce housing requirements.
Construction: Build 25-50 housing units, prioritizing a mix of single-family homes, duplexes, and small apartment complexes.
Affordability Focus: Ensure a significant portion of the units meet affordability criteria for low-income families.
Accessibility: Include features that accommodate the needs of diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with disabilities.
Management: Develop a long-term plan for property management and tenant support services.
