INVITATION TO BID
Sealed proposals will be received at the office of the San Juan Water District, located at 9935 Auburn
Folsom Road, Granite Bay, CA 95746, until 2:00 p.m. local time on August 6, 2026, or such later date as may be
set by addendum, and then will be publicly opened and read for the construction of the following public works project:
WTP Electrical Panels Rehabilitation Project.
In general, the nature of the work involves the rehabilitation of several electrical panelboards and
Switchboard located in the District's Water Treatment Plant's Electrical Room. The rehabilitation includes
replacement of the existing breakers, replacement of dead fronts and panel doors, replacement of main feeders
and portable generator feeders, new Switchboard power quality meter with panel and current transformers,
new grounding system, new emergency light fixtures, and conduit rerouting. The Project is located at the
District's Water Treatment Plant located at 9935 Auburn Folsom Road, Granite Bay, Placer County, CA.
The Work under the bid schedule shall be completed on or before January 29, 2027. The Contract
Documents contain a full description of the Work, and requirements.
The contract documents for the Project, including the public works construction contract, instructions to bidders, bid
forms, and plans and specifications, may be examined at the District office, with prior notice to the District's
representative, located at 9935 Auburn Folsom Road, Granite Bay, CA 95746. An electronic copy of contract
documents may be obtained from the website www.publicpurchase.com. Bidders must comply with the Instructions
to Bidders.

The District will hold a mandatory pre-bid conference at the District Office, at 9935 Auburn Folsom
Road, Granite Bay, CA 95746 on July 23, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. It is suggested that each prospective bidder review
the bid documents and project site prior to the pre-bid conference. Each prospective bidder shall be required to
attend the pre-bid conference. Bids from any bidder not attending this conference will be rejected as non-
responsive.
