Fairfield Plantation Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed proposals will be received by Carroll County Water Authority, until 2:00 PM Local Time
on Thursday, June 25, 2026 for the construction of the
Fairfield Plantation Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation
at which time and place they will be opened and read.
A summary of the work items is included below:
The Work under this Contract generally includes rehabilitation of the sanitary sewer system,
consisting of cleaning and lining approximately 1,025 linear feet of 15-inch gravity sewer, 1,425
linear feet of 12-inch gravity sewer, and 3,525 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer using cured-in-
place pipe (CIPP). The Work also includes rehabilitation of 57 manholes (approximately 725
vertical feet), including surface preparation, miscellaneous improvements, and installation of a
cementitious liner.
The work of constructing the project will be let under one Contract if an award should be made;
and the Owner reserves the right to select the Bid considered by the Owner to be in the best
interest of the Owner.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to
the Contract Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the
Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in
the State of Georgia and listed as a certified company in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury
Circular 570, in the amount of five percent of the Bid. Performance and Payment Bonds and
evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the
Contract.

Analytics, Isqft and CMD Group.

Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Engineer. All bidders bidding in
amounts exceeding that established by the state licensing board for general contractors must be
licensed under the appropriate/applicable provisions of state law, and must show evidence of
license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Engineer; the bidder shall
show such evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the
sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any
or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interest of the
Owner will thereby be promoted.
