The City of Jackson has been selected to receive federal Surface Transportation Program (STP) grants for full depth pavement reconstruction on Morrell Street from Brown Street to West Avenue as well as traffic signal modernizations for Morrell Street intersections at First Street and at Fourth Street. The City of Jackson will fund water main replacement to be completed in conjunction with the grant-funded pavement reconstruction.
