Landfill Western Slope Closure Project

The project consists of constructing a 6.46-acre geosynthetic and soil final cap system on the landfill and making improvements to the existing South Stormwater Basin. Work associated with the project includes, but is not limited to: (i) earthwork; (ii) installing geosynthetics and soil layers associated with the cap system; (iii) modifying existing landfill gas collection and conveyance features; (iv) constructing drainage features; (v) modifying the existing South Stormwater Basin; and (v) installing and maintaining construction erosion and sediment control measures.
