Free Acceptance of Material to be Repurposed as Landfill Cover Material for Prince George’s County Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill

The Maryland Environmental Service (the Service) is distributing this Request for Interest (RFI) on behalf of Prince George’s County (the County) to solicit interest from parties seeking to deliver clean fill material to the Brown Station Road Sanitary Landfill (BSRSL) and neighboring Barger Tract storage area that can be repurposed as landfill daily cover, intermediate cover, and final cover. The material must meet MDE requirements for cover soil acceptance at BSRSL. Responses to this RFI do not guarantee material acceptance. Material may be accepted from multiple parties.

MES will only accept Electronic Bids on MES Procurement Portal (Bonfire) ( https://menv.bonfirehub.com/ ) . Mailed, Emailed, Faxed, or Hand Delivered (paper) bids will not be accepted. Requested Information on the MES Procurement Portal must be submitted on or before the bid due date, Submission option will not be available after the bid due date. Bidders may follow-up with the procurement department procurement@menv.com to determine if their Bids were received on time.

Conditioning a bid or proposal or any other MES solicitation or bidding document will deem your bid or proposal non-responsive and not be accepted COMAR 21.05.02.22.
