Description
A geotechnical investigation is required to characterize subsurface conditions in support of planning and design of proposed reconstruction. The scope of the geotechnical investigation is to generally include:
1) Completion of an intrusive geotechnical borehole program consisting of a total of six (6) boreholes along the current/future wharf alingment.
2) Laboratory testing of representative soil/rock obtained from the boreholes; and
3) Preparation of a factual geotechnical report presenting the findings of the field investigation and laboratory testing.
