Solicitation Summary
The State is issuing this solicitation to solicit bids for trash, collection and disposal, and recycling services throughout the State of Maryland.
The
Department of General Services (DGS) has control authority for the procurement of facility maintenance services such as those described in this solicitation.

Additional Instructions
The Department intends to make multiple awards as a result of this IFB
Indefinite Quantity with Fixed Unit Prices
five (5) year base period with two (2) one (1) year renewal option periods.
Maryland county, municipal, and other non-state governments or government agencies and not-for-profit organizations within the State of Maryland may purchase from the Contractor for services covered by this Contract at the same prices chargeable to the State.
A Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) subcontract participation goal of 15% percent of the total contract dollar amount, including all renewal option terms, if any, has been established for this procurement. The overall MBE subcontract participation goal includes the following subgoals, which have been established for this procurement:
15% Anne Arundel County
15% Baltimore City
15% Baltimore County
15% Howard County
15% Montgomery County
15% Prince George’s County
